Lufthansa’s Annual General Meeting: Overwhelming Support for Resolutions

Deutsche Lufthansa AG held its 71st Annual General Meeting virtually, with 1,500 shareholders representing nearly 40% of the company’s share capital participating. Eight agenda items were voted on and approved by a significant majority of shareholders. These included endorsing the actions of the Executive and Supervisory Boards during the 2023 financial year, allocating balance sheet profits, and distributing a dividend of EUR 0.30 per share. Notably, Sara Hennicken, CFO of Fresenius Management SE, was elected as a new member of the Supervisory Board. Former executives from Airbus, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz were also re-elected to the board.

Deutsche Lufthansa AG Appoints Till Streichert as Chief Financial Officer

The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Lufthansa AG has announced the appointment of Till Streichert as a member of its Executive Board. Effective September 15, 2024, Streichert will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a three-year term. He will lead the Finance Division, overseeing key areas such as Controlling & Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Corporate Accounting, Investor Relations, and Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to joining Lufthansa Group, Streichert served as CFO at Amadeus IT Group. Throughout his extensive career, he has held various senior executive and financial management positions at leading companies across multiple industries.
