Anti-Israeli Protesters Raise Palestinian Flags at Harvard University, Violating Policy

Amidst ongoing anti-Israeli demonstrations across the United States, protesters at Harvard University raised Palestinian flags over the iconic statue of John Harvard, where the American flag is intended to fly. The incident, caught on video, has sparked outrage and raised questions about university policy. Harvard’s spokesperson confirmed that the students’ actions violated university policy and that disciplinary action will be taken. Similar protests have erupted at other Ivy League universities and college campuses across the country, resulting in numerous arrests.

BBAU Inquiry Committee Investigates Ram Navami Clash

In response to the clash that ensued between Dalit student groups and security personnel during the Ram Navami celebrations, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) has assembled an inquiry committee to gather the perspectives of those involved. On April 23, students presented their accounts to the committee, identifying additional individuals whose statements were also recorded. According to a BBAU official, the university administration is conducting a thorough investigation and will take appropriate disciplinary action against any violators as per established regulations upon completion. Meanwhile, medical examinations have confirmed the good health of the students who participated in the hunger strike, with the exception of Akhilesh Kumar, who experienced a faint and was taken to Lok Bandhu Hospital.
