Apple is expected to discontinue several of its products, including the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 13, Apple Watch Series 9, SE 2, and AirPods 2, following its annual iPhone event on Sept. 9. The discontinuation is likely to make way for new models, including the iPhone 16 series, Apple Watch Series 10, and AirPods 4.
Apple’s FineWoven accessories, introduced in September 2022 as an eco-friendly alternative to leather, may be facing discontinuation. While made from recycled materials, concerns about durability and appearance have been raised by customers and social media users. If discontinued, FineWoven will join a list of short-lived Apple products such as the Macintosh XL, Macintosh TV, Power Mac G4 Cube, eMate, and iPod Hi-Fi, all of which faced challenges despite initial anticipation or innovative features.
