Arun Reddy, an alleged handler of the ‘Spirit of Congress’ X account, has been arrested by Delhi Police in connection with a doctored video case involving Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The video, which falsely depicted Shah advocating the abolition of reservations, was investigated by the IFSO unit of Delhi Police. Reddy’s arrest follows the earlier issuance of summons to four Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) members in connection with the case. Reddy’s lawyer claims that the account in question is not owned by the Telangana Chief Minister.
