As summer heats up, plans are taking shape for an extraordinary dog park that will be the envy of all others in the Sunshine State. This public crowdsourcing initiative invites dog lovers nationwide to contribute their ideas and help design “America’s top dog park.” The future “bark park” will be a haven for four-legged friends and their owners to socialize and enjoy quality time amidst century-old oak trees. It will be nestled within the vibrant 215-acre Wyld Oaks mixed-use development, which boasts two hotels, a wellness village, residences, retail, offices, restaurants, walking trails, and a music and comedy venue. This exciting project is driven by the vision of Dan Kodsi, founder of Wyld Oaks, who seeks to create a year-round destination for dogs and their human companions. Phase 1 of the crowdsourcing initiative will gather ideas from across the country, which will be used to develop two design concepts.
