U.S. Representative Donald Payne, Jr., a Democrat from New Jersey, has sadly passed away at the age of 65. Payne represented New Jersey’s 10th Congressional District since 2012 and was widely respected for his dedication to the people of his state and his unwavering advocacy for working families.
Six-term Democratic New Jersey Rep. Donald Payne died Wednesday at the age of 65, after suffering a heart attack earlier this month. Payne had been on the House Committee on Homeland Security, the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and was a member of the Congressional Black Caucus.
