A promising start gave the Warriors an early lead, but the Voltigeurs rallied back to tie the game in the third period. With just over two minutes remaining, Aiden Ziprick’s shorthanded goal proved to be the game-winner, sending the Warriors to the next round. Brayden Yager sealed the victory with an empty-net goal in the final seconds.
