Passenger traffic surged by 8.4% to 23 million, affirming DXB’s pivotal role in Dubai’s economy and the Middle East’s aviation sector. The airport’s strategic expansion and robust connectivity, driven by its home carriers Emirates and flydubai, continue to fuel its ascent as a key international hub for tourism and business. With a robust start to Q2 and an optimistic outlook, DXB has revised its yearly passenger forecast to 91 million, surpassing its previous record set in 2018.
