This nationwide event showcases the significant contributions of state parks to the economy and community wellness. State parks across the U.S. draw millions of visitors annually, generating substantial revenue for local and state economies. In Pennsylvania alone, state parks welcomed nearly 40 million visitors in 2023, adding over $14 billion to the state’s GDP. Beyond economic benefits, state parks offer a plethora of outdoor activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional health. Participate in a variety of events at over 8,500 state parks nationwide, including a highlight event at Little Buffalo State Park in Newport, PA, on May 14th, honoring park stewardship. Regina’s Neuron E-Scooters Return for Second Season, Bring Environmental and Economic Benefits

Regina’s Neuron e-scooters are back for the summer season, marking their second year of operation in the city. Last year, riders traveled 165,000 kilometers in Regina, with an average trip length of 2.9 kilometers and duration of 17 minutes. A survey conducted by Neuron revealed that 90% of respondents believe e-scooters have a positive impact on the city. Notably, 54% of all trips in Regina replaced car journeys, reducing CO2 emissions by an estimated 14 tonnes. Neuron’s General Manager for Canada, Ankush Karwal, expressed enthusiasm about the return of e-scooters, highlighting their safety features and the positive economic impact they bring to local businesses.
