Hemant Soren Approaches Supreme Court Over Delay in High Court Verdict on ED Arrest

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has filed a plea in the Supreme Court, alleging delay by the state high court in delivering a verdict on his petition challenging his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on money laundering charges. Soren’s counsel, Kapil Sibal, urged the apex court to hear the case immediately, highlighting the ongoing Lok Sabha elections and the need for a timely decision. The Supreme Court has yet to assign a hearing date, leaving Soren’s fate in limbo.
