This stance contradicts his previous promotion of a healthy lifestyle and concerns about the decline in physical activity due to technology. The gaming industry has become a lucrative source of revenue for the government, with online gambling platforms expected to contribute $1.7 billion in GST in the upcoming fiscal year. Political parties have also received significant donations from gaming and gambling companies, which may have influenced Modi’s change in attitude. With a large population of young voters actively involved in gaming, politicians are unlikely to ignore such a vast voter base. However, the consequences of promoting gaming may be detrimental to the future of India, as it diverts attention from crucial issues such as unemployment, inflation, education, and farm income.

Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District has commissioned Architectural Vision Group Ltd. (AVG) to develop a long-term master plan for the Mill Road campus. The project encompasses an evaluation of the conditions of Brecksville-Broadview Heights High and Middle schools, Hilton Elementary School, football and baseball stadiums, and the Board of Education office.

The Delhi Directorate of Education (DoE) is exploring various measures to address the space shortage faced by schools in Northeast Delhi. This includes considering the addition of floors with light-gauge steel-framed structures, utilizing surplus infrastructure in nearby schools, and seeking land for expansion. The High Court (HC) had intervened in the matter after a PIL raised concerns about irregular classes due to the space crunch, and the DoE has since issued show-cause notices to 18 officials for their negligence. The DoE has detailed specific actions being taken to alleviate the space constraints, including shifting some students to a new building, seeking space from the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), and writing to nearby MCD schools for the use of halls and classrooms.
