Navi Mumbai Airport to be Named After Late Activist DB Patil

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced that the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport will be named after former MP and activist DB Patil. The announcement was made during a test flight of an IAF C-295 aircraft, which successfully landed at the airport on Friday. The airport, developed by the Adani Group, is expected to begin commercial operations early next year.

Eligible women will receive ₹ 1500 per month, with an initial payment of ₹ 3000 already distributed to over 3 million women.
