Gogoro Delivers on Strong Demand for Affordable JEGO Electric Scooter, Expansion into High Performance Electric Scooters

Gogoro, the world’s largest battery-swapping network operator, has announced the start of deliveries for its highly anticipated Gogoro JEGO Smartscooter. With over 6,500 fully-paid pre-orders in a short period, the JEGO has sparked significant demand since its launch in Taiwan last month. Gogoro attributes this success to the scooter’s affordability, starting at just US $760 after government subsidies, and its innovative battery-swapping system, which reduces the overall cost of ownership. The company’s domestic market of Taiwan remains its largest, but Gogoro has expanded its footprint to much of Asia, providing access to its vast network of battery swapping stations.
