Residents can enjoy free wood chips, a fun run, a fundraising event, and a cultural celebration in Kane County. Free wood chips will be available at Burnidge Forest Preserve and Big Rock Forest Preserve on April 28th. The Elgin Valley Fox Trot, a 10-mile and 5K race, will take place on June 2nd. The Inn Recovery Spring Fundraiser will be held on May 2nd to support the Kane County Specialty Courts Foundation. Centro de Información will host its Centro de Mayo event on May 5th, featuring tacos, piñatas, and a drum circle.
