Argentina Thanks Brazil for Embassy Custody Amid Venezuela Diplomatic Row

Argentine President Javier Milei expressed gratitude to Brazil for taking over the custody of Argentina’s embassy in Venezuela after staff were ordered to leave following Buenos Aires’ condemnation of Nicolas Maduro’s reelection. The move came in response to Venezuela’s expulsion of diplomatic staff from seven Latin American countries, including Argentina, who jointly called for a review of the election results. Milei emphasized the need for a free and democratic Venezuela, hinting at a future reopening of the embassy.
