Verstappen Triumphs at Emilia Romagna, Extends F1 Lead

Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing claimed victory at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix on Sunday, holding off a spirited challenge from McLaren’s Lando Norris. Despite starting on pole position, Verstappen faced fierce competition from Norris throughout the race. Norris pushed hard towards the end, but Verstappen’s resilient defense ultimately won out, securing his fifth victory in seven Grand Prix races this season. Charles Leclerc’s third-place finish marked Ferrari’s first podium at Imola since 2006, while Oscar Piastri and Carlos Sainz Jr. rounded out the top five.
