The Frost & Sullivan Institute has announced the winners of the 2024 Enlightened Growth Leadership Best Practices Recognition from the Americas, recognizing companies that have successfully integrated sustainable practices into their business models. These companies have demonstrated exceptional leadership in areas such as water conservation, circular economy models, digital inclusion, and reducing GHG emissions.
Standard Motor Products, Inc. (NYSE: SMP) has once again been recognized as a leader in sustainability by Newsweek. The company was included on the magazine’s Green Rankings list for the second year in a row, which recognizes companies that have demonstrated significant improvements in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and cutting carbon footprint. SMP was one of ten automotive parts manufacturers to be recognized as a leader on the list, which began with a pool of 2,000 U.S.-based companies. The ranking process involved measuring companies’ emissions intensity (the amount of greenhouse gas produced relative to revenue) and other stringent requirements over the 2020-2022 period. SMP’s commitment to sustainability and its initiatives to reduce carbon footprint have earned it this prestigious recognition.
