The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to launch its latest earth observation satellite, EOS-08, on August 15th, 2024. The launch, onboard the third and final developmental flight of the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV)-D3, will mark the completion of the SSLV Development Project and pave the way for operational missions. EOS-08, built on the Microsat/IMS-1 bus, carries three payloads designed for diverse applications, including satellite-based surveillance, disaster monitoring, and environmental studies.
