Aaron LaBerge, former Chief Technology Officer at Disney Entertainment and ESPN, has decided to leave the company to join the team at Penn Entertainment. He will be aiding Penn’s technology strategy in their interactive division. LaBerge not only contributed to getting ESPN+ off the ground but also helped with the streaming service joint venture with Fox and Warner Bros. Discovery.

LaBerge’s departure is part of a series of executive departures from Disney in recent years. He will remain with Disney until June for personal reasons related to his family.
The Pat McAfee Show is going on the road for the NFL Draft, with the show’s annual Draft Spectacular taking place in Detroit, Michigan. McAfee and his crew will be broadcasting live from a custom-built theater at the Campus Martius Park in downtown Detroit, just next to where ABC and ESPN will be broadcasting. In addition to McAfee’s show, ESPN will also have extensive coverage of the draft, with Get Up!, First Take, College GameDay, and NFL Draft Countdown all leading up to the live broadcast of the draft starting at 8pm ET. McAfee’s show will be broadcasting concurrently on ESPN+, YouTube, and TikTok, with former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick joining the show as a guest.
