In order to facilitate smooth transportation for personnel involved in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Delhi on May 25th, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced the extension of metro train services. Starting from 4:00 am on election day, metro trains will operate with a frequency of 30 minutes on all lines until 6:00 am. Following this initial period, regular metro services will resume throughout the day.

To facilitate the Lok Sabha polls in Bengaluru on April 26, the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has decided to extend metro services beyond their regular operating hours. Trains will run until 12:35 am on April 27, 40 minutes past the usual scheduled time of 11.55 pm.
Hyderabad Metro Rail has extended its services beyond scheduled closing hours to accommodate fans attending the IPL cricket match at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal on April 25th. The last trains will depart from their respective terminal stations at 12.15 am and are expected to reach their destinations by 1.10 am. During the extended hours, entry will only be permitted at Uppal, Stadium, and NGRI stations, while other stations will allow exits only.
