Bollywood actor Tamannaah Bhatia has been summoned by the Maharashtra cyber cell in connection with the alleged promotion of online betting during the Indian Premier League (IPL). According to officials, she has been asked to appear before the authorities on April 29th regarding her involvement in the Fairplay betting app, which is linked to the Mahadev online gaming and betting application. The app allegedly streamed some IPL matches illegally in 2023.

Bhatia is scheduled to appear before the agency on April 29th. This follows a similar summons issued to Sanjay Dutt, who was unable to appear on the scheduled date and requested a rescheduling.
