According to officials, she has been asked to appear before the authorities on April 29th regarding her involvement in the Fairplay betting app, which is linked to the Mahadev online gaming and betting application. The app allegedly streamed some IPL matches illegally in 2023.

Bhatia is scheduled to appear before the agency on April 29th. This follows a similar summons issued to Sanjay Dutt, who was unable to appear on the scheduled date and requested a rescheduling.

However, due to scheduling conflicts, he was unable to appear and has requested a new date. Viacom reportedly suffered losses in crores of rupees due to the illegal streaming.
