The incident occurred on Tuesday in Kadarabad, and five people, including the victim’s wife and brother, have been detained. According to police, the victim, Chandra Prakash Mishra, wanted to gift the items to his sister on April 26, but his wife, Kshama Mishra, opposed it. When Mishra questioned the interference of Kshama’s relatives, they allegedly attacked him with sticks, causing severe injuries. Mishra was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries. The accused are being interrogated, and further investigation is underway.
