Legendary rock band UFO has likely called it quits, according to frontman Phil Mogg. Their last performance was on July 16, 2022 in Germany, marking the end of an era for the band that has been rocking since 1968. The band had originally planned a farewell tour in 2019, but those plans were cut short when Mogg suffered a heart attack. With 22 studio albums, 14 live recordings, and 16 compilation albums under their belt, UFO has cemented their place in rock history. VH1 even ranked them 84th on their “100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock” list.
Blur frontman Damon Albarn hinted that Coachella 2024 might mark the band’s final performance.
