Samsung is addressing a key concern with its upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 by introducing improved charging capabilities. FCC filings reveal that the new watch will support up to 15W charging, enabling a 50% faster charging speed than the current Galaxy Watch 6 models. This enhancement may reduce the charging time from 90 minutes to 45 minutes for a full charge from 0% to 100%. However, the budget-priced Galaxy Watch FE is expected to have a slower 5W charging rate. In addition to the charging improvements, the Galaxy Watch 7 is rumored to feature a new 3nm Exynos W1000 chipset, offering a 20% boost in performance and power efficiency. The launch of the Galaxy Watch 7 is anticipated in the coming weeks, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphones.
