Yale Students Stand in Solidarity with Columbia University Protesters, Sparking Outrage

In response to ongoing protests at Columbia University, students at Yale University have established a ‘Liberated Zone’ encampment. Among those arrested at Columbia was Isabel Jennifer Seward, who escaped prison time despite being involved in a fatal crash in 2020 that took the lives of a Vermont couple. Her arrest has sparked outrage among the victims’ family, who believe her wealth and privilege played a role in her leniency. The Vermont State Police are being urged to reopen the investigation, while students at Columbia continue to demand an end to Israeli military actions.
