Larrama followed Martinez and stabbed him in the left side of his chest during a physical altercation that ensued. Investigators said security camera footage showed Larrama returning to the bar to wash his hands and change clothes before leaving out a back door. In November 2023, part-owner and daytime bartender Alisha Dumeer pleaded guilty to a charge of accessory to murder after the fact in connection with Martinez’s death. Dumeer admitted to helping Larrama change his clothes after the stabbing and was sentenced to three years of probation, including six months of home confinement.
