Scammers send fraudulent text messages that appear to come from official toll authorities, such as E-470 Public Highway Authority in Colorado. These texts often contain a link to a fake website that requests personal and financial information. The FBI warns users not to click on the links in these texts and to report them to the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) immediately.
