The Tamil Nadu Tourism Department has completed its groundbreaking ‘floating restaurant’ project at Muttukadu Boat House on East Coast Road. The new venture, named ‘Seanz Cruise’, is a double-decker vessel offering a unique dining experience on the water. This first-of-its-kind project in the state is a public-private partnership involving the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) and Cochin-based Grandeur Marine International. The floating restaurant features live music, a DJ, and a television screen on its lower floor, making it ideal for office conferences, small parties, and events. The upper floor provides open-air views, perfect for watching the sunset. The cruise operates throughout the week, starting service from 7:30 AM for breakfast and accommodating group breakfast orders. This innovative dining experience, with its focus on safety and comfort, is set to enhance the tourism appeal of Tamil Nadu.
