Airdrie RCMP Searching for Vehicles Connected to Shooting

Airdrie RCMP are on the lookout for two vehicles suspected to be involved in a shooting incident that occurred on Wednesday in the Windsong community. The incident, reported around 1 p.m., involved shots being fired from a vehicle. On Thursday, police revealed details about the vehicles in question: a black Ford F-150 with tinted front and rear windows and a four-door white Audi SUV. The RCMP advises the public not to approach the vehicles as the occupants are considered armed and dangerous. Individuals with any information are urged to contact Airdrie RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

Over $10,000 Worth of Metal Stolen from Guelph Business

A Guelph business has reported the theft of over $10,000 worth of metal over a two-day period. The thefts occurred at a business located in the area of Watson Road South and Airpark Drive. Surveillance video captured footage of the suspects arriving in a maroon-colored Ford F-150 and loading items onto the bed of the truck. A similar truck, as well as a white Chevrolet or GMC pickup, were also seen at the scene of the second theft. A total of 875 steel hoops were stolen from the business. No suspect descriptions have been provided. The thefts follow a similar incident in the same area, where copper wire and electric motors were stolen from another business. Police are asking anyone with information on the latest theft to contact Guelph Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
