Nazareth’s Grover Halts Freedom’s Offensive Roll, Hands Patriots First Loss

Nazareth’s Kylie Grover recorded her 100th career strikeout in a 10-3 victory over previously undefeated Freedom in high school softball action on Monday. The Blue Eagles pitcher held the Patriots to four hits in seven innings, while Freedom’s Kate Miller drove in all three runs for her team. Nazareth took control of the game early, scoring seven runs in the first inning, and added three more in the sixth to seal the win. The victory improved Nazareth’s record to 10-2 on the season, while Freedom dropped to 11-1.
