Nazareth softball emerged victorious against Freedom, ending their undefeated streak and propelling themselves up the rankings. The Blue Eagles have been on a winning streak since their lone loss to Easton, while Freedom has faced consecutive setbacks against Parkland and Bethlehem Catholic.
Nazareth’s Kylie Grover recorded her 100th career strikeout in a 10-3 victory over previously undefeated Freedom in high school softball action on Monday. The Blue Eagles pitcher held the Patriots to four hits in seven innings, while Freedom’s Kate Miller drove in all three runs for her team. Nazareth took control of the game early, scoring seven runs in the first inning, and added three more in the sixth to seal the win. The victory improved Nazareth’s record to 10-2 on the season, while Freedom dropped to 11-1.
