Netflix has reportedly abandoned plans for ‘The Rats’ spin-off show set in the ‘Witcher’ universe. The prequel series, initially planned for six to eight episodes, was reportedly cut short after only two months of filming due to unsatisfactory early footage. Netflix is now considering incorporating the filmed footage into Season 4 flashbacks or releasing it as a short. This news comes amidst reports that ‘The Witcher’ will conclude with Season 5, with the final three books in the saga being condensed into two seasons.
