11 bit Studios has announced a delay for the highly anticipated city-builder Frostpunk 2, pushing its release date from July 25th to September 20th. The decision was made after analyzing feedback from the beta, which, despite receiving an average rating of 8 out of 10, highlighted areas for improvement. The developer plans to incorporate these suggestions, focusing on gameplay mechanics, user interface enhancements, and a new feature called ‘Zoom Stories’.

11 Bit Studios has announced that Frostpunk 2, the highly anticipated sequel to their award-winning survival city builder, is set to release on August 15, 2024. In this new edition, players will take on the role of the Steward and guide the city of New London through a post-apocalyptic winter 30 years after the events of the first game. New gameplay mechanics include building out entire districts, engaging with a council, and balancing the interests of different factions.
