Walt Disney Animation Studios has announced a leadership change, appointing Jared Bush as Chief Creative Officer, replacing Jennifer Lee who will focus on directing the upcoming ‘Frozen 3’ and overseeing the franchise. The move comes as Disney continues to invest in its animation division, a key driver of revenue and brand recognition.
Idina Menzel, the Tony Award-winning Broadway star known for her iconic roles in ‘Rent’ and ‘Wicked,’ is hitting the road for her first tour in nearly eight years. Titled ‘Take Me or Leave Me,’ after the beloved song from ‘Rent,’ the tour will kick off on July 19 in Seattle, Washington, and stretch throughout the summer, wrapping up on August 18 in Greensboro, North Carolina. Menzel will showcase a career-spanning setlist of hits from her own albums, jazz standards, and musicals, including ‘Wicked,’ ‘Rent,’ and ‘Frozen.’ Tickets for the tour go on sale on April 24 for artist presales and April 26 for general on-sale.
