Starting today, citizens of China’s Fujian province are once again permitted to visit Taiwan as part of an easing of travel restrictions announced by China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism. This announcement comes ahead of the inauguration of William Lai, Taiwan’s President-elect, in May, a figure whom China has labeled as a separatist.
