Fullerton Secures Consecutive Freeway League Title with 6-3 Victory

Fullerton’s baseball team clinched their third consecutive Freeway League championship with a hard-fought 6-3 victory over Buena Park on Tuesday. Miguel Velazquez led the charge for the Indians, going 3 for 4 with two home runs, a double, and three RBIs. Pitcher Eddie Acitia pitched a complete game, striking out 10 batters and allowing only six hits, to improve his record to 5-0. Despite facing a rebuilding season, Coach Shaun Hill praised the collective effort of the team, crediting bench players, pinch hitters, and bullpen pitchers for their contributions. Buena Park remains in contention for a playoff berth and will face Fullerton again in the regular season finale on Thursday.
