San Francisco-based designer Evan Kinori has unveiled his highly anticipated debut furniture collection, “apple, elm & cotton,” at an exclusive exhibition in New York. Bottega Veneta and Cassina have collaborated on a new iteration of Le Corbusier’s LC14 Tabouret, an iconic stool or side table. Led by Matthieu Blazy, Bottega Veneta’s creative director, this special edition pays homage to the timeless design while infusing it with the house’s signature craft techniques. Inspired by centuries-old Japanese techniques, one version features scorch marks on the wood, while another showcases the brand’s Intreccio foulard technique in vibrant colors encased in black.
