Samsung’s August 2024 security update brings the handy Circle to Search feature to the Galaxy S21 FE, allowing users to search by circling, highlighting, or scribbling around text or images. This update also addresses 50 security vulnerabilities.
Samsung is planning to bring its Galaxy AI features to the more affordable Galaxy A35 and A55 phones via a future software update. This move follows Samsung’s recent announcement of expanding Galaxy AI access to 200 million devices by 2024. The update, expected to be One UI 6.1.1, will potentially include AI-powered features like note summaries, translation tools, AI wallpaper, and video enhancements. Samsung is rolling out its Galaxy AI technology to a wider range of Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Starting May 12, owners of the Galaxy S22 series, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, and Tab S8 series will receive One UI 6.1, which includes the full suite of Galaxy AI features. Galaxy S21 series, Z Fold 3, and Z Flip 3 owners will also get the update, but their access to Galaxy AI will be limited to Circle to Search with Google and Chat Assist.
