ESA Gets Doom Running on a Satellite

The European Space Agency (ESA) has successfully run the classic first-person shooter Doom on one of its satellites, OPS-SAT. This is the first time a satellite has played Doom, demonstrating the growing capabilities of on-board satellite systems. The experiment involved sending a demo recording built on a version of Doom called ChocolateDoom to the satellite, which then played it back.
