According to information from the Chinese tech forum Board Channels, NVIDIA plans to stop production of its popular GeForce RTX 3060 GPU. The move comes as a surprise given the card’s popularity among PC gamers. NVIDIA is reportedly notifying partners to place their final orders, with production ending over the coming months. Gamers will likely switch to the newer GeForce RTX 4060, offering more performance and newer features, but at a reduced VRAM capacity.
