The business events industry, despite its significant female presence, faces a leadership gender gap. BESydney and PCMA Foundation’s “Advancing Women in Business Events” study seeks to understand and address this disparity, providing critical insights, barriers, and recommendations to foster gender equity at all levels.

During a Passover Seder, discussions veered into tangents, including concerns over mysticism, the ongoing war in Gaza, and the lack of gender equity. Despite these digressions, the usual traditions were mostly observed, with attendees sharing stories, prayers, and songs. The author reflects on three distinct 20-year periods of Passover Seders, each with its unique characteristics and challenges. Ultimately, the Seder serves as a time for both acknowledging suffering and celebrating freedom, with a hope for resolution and a second Seder to address any oversights.
