The court sentenced the 62-year-old former Oxford University professor to three years in prison, with two years suspended. This verdict comes after years of controversy surrounding Ramadan, who has been accused of sexual assault in multiple countries.

SWISS will expand its travel offerings in the 2024/25 winter schedule, continuing many of the routes introduced in the summer of 2024. The airline will maintain its new routes from Zurich to Washington DC, London Gatwick, Cluj-Napoca, and Košice, as well as the Geneva to Oslo route, throughout the winter. Additionally, SWISS plans to increase flight frequencies on long-haul routes to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, and Shanghai.
