Elon Musk has officially named Tesla’s new supercomputer cluster at Giga Texas ‘Cortex,’ a massive system featuring 100,000 NVIDIA H100/H200 GPUs dedicated to training AI for Tesla’s Full Self-Driving and Optimus robotics projects. The cluster requires a massive cooling system, consuming 130MW of power currently, with plans to expand to over 500MW in the next 18 months.
