AMD has released a new preview driver (Adrenalin Edition 24.20.11.01) that brings optimized performance and features for popular PC games like God of War Ragnarok, Frostpunk 2, and The Sims 4. The driver also includes HYPR-Tune support for AMD FSR 3 and Anti-Lag 2 in several games, as well as fixes for issues in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
The release of God of War Ragnarok on PC has been met with controversy due to its requirement of a PlayStation Network (PSN) account, despite lacking any online features. This decision has led to negative reviews and a backlash from players, particularly those in regions where PSN is unavailable.
God of War Ragnarok is coming to PC on September 19, 2024, and Santa Monica Studio has released the full PC specs. The game will support DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 1.3, but even with minimum specs, you’ll need a beefy SSD for the 190GB game.
