The highlights include intersections of 53.8m of 4.10 g/t Au, 35.1m of 3.59 g/t Au, and 24.4m of 1.76 g/t Au with 440.6 g/t Ag. These results further validate the potential of the Atlanta Mine, strengthening Nevada King’s exploration program.
Targa Exploration Corp. has commenced the next phase of exploration at its 100%-owned Opinaca Gold project in Quebec. The program involves intensive prospecting and rock sampling along a 7km target gold trend, as well as a higher density grid of Heavy Mineral Concentrate (HMC) sampling. The objective is to identify the bedrock source of gold previously discovered in local till samples.
Fortuna Mining Corp. has announced positive exploration updates from its Séguéla Mine in Côte d’Ivoire, highlighting the significant potential of the Kingfisher prospect and the continued exploration at the Sunbird deposit. Drilling results show promising gold mineralization at both locations, indicating potential for both open-pit and underground mining. Fortuna plans to continue exploration efforts throughout the remainder of 2024, with the goal of establishing a maiden inferred mineral resource for Kingfisher early in 2025.
