Calgary Teen Charged with Attempted Murder, Good Samaritan Sought

Calgary police have charged a 16-year-old with two counts of attempted murder after an incident in the downtown core. Investigators are seeking the assistance of a Good Samaritan who may have witnessed the incident and can provide valuable information. The victims, a man and a woman, were attacked by the suspect, who attempted to stab the man and chased them both. The female victim sought refuge under a parked car, while the male victim sought help from patrol officers. Upon arrival, officers apprehended the suspect after he attempted to flee. Both victims escaped unharmed and are not acquainted with the accused. The teenager will appear in court on June 6th. Good Samaritan’s Car Stolen by Suspected Auto Thieves After Highway 400 Crash

A Good Samaritan’s car was stolen by suspected auto thieves after they stopped to offer help at the scene of a crash on Highway 400 Tuesday morning. Police said the collision involved two tractor trailers and a stolen pickup truck, which was reportedly driving erratically. The Good Samaritan saw the collision and stopped to help, but the occupants of the stolen pickup then stole their car, a grey Honda Fit, and fled the scene.

Suspects at Large after Assault, Hit-and-Run, and Samaritan Assault

Edmonton police are searching for three suspects involved in a series of bizarre events that transpired on Friday morning in south Edmonton. The incident began when a black Ford Fusion sedan collided with a black Hyundai Sonata near Scona Road and 94th Avenue. The Ford Fusion then attempted to flee the scene, prompting a witness driving a silver Dodge RAM pickup truck to intervene. Two women from the Ford Fusion exited the vehicle and assaulted the good Samaritan, who retaliated by stabbing one of the suspects in the hand with a seatbelt cutter. The male suspect and the two women then escaped in the Ford Fusion, while the driver of the Hyundai Sonata remained uninjured. The woman in the pickup truck sustained severe, non-life-threatening injuries. Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the Ford Fusion and the three suspects.
