UK Government Launches Coalition to Combat Knife Crime, Led by Prime Minister Starmer and Idris Elba

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has launched a coalition to tackle the growing problem of knife crime in England and Wales, bringing together government officials, campaign groups, and families affected by violence. The initiative aims to understand the root causes of youth involvement in knife crime and implement stricter measures on knife sales, particularly online.

Government to Reconstitute Committee on Missing Persons

The government of Pakistan is committed to resolving the issue of missing persons and has announced plans to reconstitute the parliamentary committee on the subject. The committee will include representatives from various political parties and will work towards finding a political solution alongside adopting legal remedies. According to the law minister, 10,200 cases of missing persons have been registered, of which around 8,000 have been addressed.
