VinFast, the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Durango Drivers’ Union in Mexico to collaborate on the green transition of public transportation. This partnership could see the Union purchase up to 3,000 VinFast VF 5 electric cars and 300 electric buses, replacing their current gasoline-powered fleet. The collaboration also includes the development of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles and buses in Durango, creating a more sustainable transportation ecosystem in the region.
