The Indianapolis Indians defeated the Omaha Storm Chasers 7-4, while the Altoona Curve fell to the Akron RubberDucks 8-7. The Greensboro Grasshoppers blew a three-run lead in the ninth inning to lose 6-5 to the Greenville Drive, and the Bradenton Marauders lost 5-3 to the Clearwater Threshers.

The Pirates’ minor league affiliates had a mixed bag of results on Tuesday. Indianapolis lost 7-4 to Omaha, Altoona fell 4-0 to Akron, Greensboro was shut out 8-0 by Greenville, and Bradenton dropped a 2-1 decision to Clearwater.
