A lightning strike illuminated the night sky in China, causing a shower of sparks to cascade down the roof of a house in a mountainside village near Zunyi, Guizhou province, on Thursday, April 18th. The peaceful scene was abruptly interrupted by a loud blast and fragments of the roof material scattering onto the ground, quickly fizzling out in the pouring rain.
