Pune Police Issues Show Cause Notice to Trainee IAS Officer’s Mother Over Gun License

Pune Police have issued a show cause notice to the mother of trainee IAS officer Pooja Khedkar, demanding an explanation as to why her gun license should not be cancelled. The notice comes after a complaint from a local farmer who alleged threats from Manorama Khedkar. This development follows the confiscation of a luxury car used by Pooja Khedkar, which had an illegally installed red beacon light and ‘Maharashtra Government’ inscription. The car’s registered owner, a city-based private company, has also received a notice from the Pune Regional Transport Office.

Donald Trump’s New York Gun License Faces Revocation

Former US President Donald Trump’s concealed carry license in New York is expected to be permanently revoked due to his felony convictions. According to state and federal law, individuals convicted of felonies are prohibited from possessing firearms. Trump has been instructed to surrender his weapons by July 11th. He can potentially retain his weapons if he applies for a ‘certificate of relief from civil disabilities’ or if his felony convictions are overturned on appeal.
